Digital Twin–Based Intelligent Attack Detection and Defense System (SİBER İKİZ)

Supported by: Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), Republic of Türkiye

Project Duration: 24 months ( April 2025 – April 2027)

Project Overview

SİBER İKİZ aims to develop a digital-twin–enhanced, AI-driven cyber defense framework that is robust against both network attacks and adversarial (evasion/manipulation) attacks targeting learning-based security models. The project focuses on:

• High-fidelity modeling of real network/system behavior via a digital twin and simulation environment

• Real-time anomaly and intrusion detection using advanced deep learning architectures

• Detection and mitigation of adversarial attacks against AI-based detectors (including explainability-driven mitigation strategies)

• Reinforcement learning–based adaptive defense policies for dynamic network protection
