Development Agencies are autonomous organizations established to contribute to regional development based on the characteristics of the region by providing cooperation and coordination between public institutions, private sector organizations and non-governmental organizations. The primary objectives of the development agencies, which carry out their work within the Ministry of Industry and Technology, are to accelerate regional development, ensure sustainability, and reduce inter-regional and intra-regional development disparities. Development Agencies announced the “Combating Covid-19 and Resilience Program” in order to support the projects to be done in this field in order to mitigate and minimize the negative effects of the Covid-19 epidemic, which negatively affects life in every field. Within the scope of the program, three priority areas have been determined and it has been announced that activities in line with these three priority areas will be supported. The three priority areas that will be supported within the scope of the program are prevention and control of the spread of the virus, emergency preparedness and response studies for public health, and the development of innovative practices to reduce the negative effects of the epidemic on the economy of the country and the region. This study aims to examine the contribution of the projects supported by the development agencies' fight against Covid-19 and resilience program to Turkey's fight against covid-19 during the Covid-19 period.
