Abstract:

The aim of the study is to reveal the relationships between corporate reputation and organizational pride, emotional commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. For this purpose, 300 surveys were distributed to the employees of 4 medium-sized enterprises in the plastic packaging manufacturing sector in the Kocaeli Region, and multiple regression analysis was conducted with the 212 surveys returned. In the analysis, the effect of corporate reputation on organizational pride, emotional commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, the effect of organizational pride on emotional commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, and finally the effect of emotional commitment on organizational citizenship behavior were investigated. According to the analysis results; Leadership and financial performance dimensions of corporate reputation, organizational pride and emotional commitment have a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. On the other hand, it has been determined that the dimensions of corporate reputation, the attractiveness of the business and its goods and services, the working environment and social responsibility do not have a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. It was concluded that corporate reputation, working environment, social responsibility dimensions and organizational pride have a significant effect on emotional commitment. It has been observed that the dimensions of corporate reputation, attractiveness of the business and goods and services, leadership and financial performance do not have a significant effect on emotional commitment. It has been determined that the working environment, attractiveness of the business and goods and services, and social responsibility dimensions of corporate reputation affect organizational pride, but the leadership and financial performance dimensions do not have an effect on organizational pride. As a result, this study, which reveals the effects of the dimensions of corporate reputation, will help increase employee performance and shed light on future studies.
