Özet
Forests ensure the preservation of their biological structures, protect the soil cover and regulate the hydrological cycle, climate temperatures and help in the fight against the effects of climate change. The increase in deforestation rates with the increasing population and the progress of urbanization have led to the deterioration of natural atmospheric and climatic orders and to increase the destructive consequences of natural disasters. Forest management can be used as an effective tool to cope with the increasing effects of climate change, especially in mountainous areas. Land use and forest protection regulations are implemented through multidisciplinary practice and shared reasoning. Values related to community awareness and education should be made for effective afforestation and forest protection.
