The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the expectations of residents regarding the impacts of tourism. The expectations of the residents are handled through the Kano Model and the Analytic Hierarchy Process. No other similar study evaluating the expectations of residents regarding the impacts of tourism has been carried out. When the findings are evaluated, it can be seen that the expectations of residents generally fall under economic dimensions. Expectations are ranked according to their importance. It provides data that can provide input to the decision-making mechanisms of destination management organizations. It can pave the way for plan policies and strategies that manage the perceptions and attitudes of the residents in order to realize more successful tourism activities.
