Özet
This study aims to identify research themes and trends in the European Journal of Education (EJE) by analyzing 1,229 articles published between 2005 and 2024 using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method. Among the eleven research themes identified in EJE, “Lifelong Learning”, “Basic Education Policies and Practices”, and “Higher Education Policies and Practices” are the most frequently studied. However, recent years have shown a noticeable increase in interest in themes such as “Professional Development of Teachers”, “Digital Education”, “Teacher Training Processes”, and “Students' Emotional Experiences and Language Development”. The theme “Professional Development of Teachers” is projected to show an upward trend in publication frequency between 2025 and 2030, indicating its growing prominence in the journal’s future research agenda. This study offers a thematic map of the journal’s scholarly evolution, providing a strategic perspective on shifting priorities in educational research and serving as a valuable reference for future studies.
