Abstract

Aim - The present study aimed to detect mecA and staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec (SCCmec) types in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) isolates obtained from various clinical samples in two university hospitals. It was also aimed to make comparison amongst the isolates.
