Dual carrier modulation (DCM) improves transmission performance in wireless communication channels by using it with orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM). In the literature, DCM is proposed to use in ultra-wideband communication (UWB) systems with orthogonal amplitude modulation (16QAM). In this study, the theoretical calculation of bit and symbol error rates of DCM using quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) instead of 16QAM is given. Performance is analyzed as bit and symbol error rate versus signal to noise ratio.
