But, businesses are sometimes reluctant to announce the results of operations in a realistic manner. From this point of view, they adopt applications that take advantage of existing flexibilities in the field of accounting. These kinds of applications can be named as creative accounting strategies, of which, the most widely used are increasing income, decreasing expenses, increasing assets, decreasing liabilities, and increasing cash flow. The possible effects on the implementation of mentioned strategies are not analyzed sufficiently in the literature.
