Abstract

Pseudoaneurysm is a pulsatile mass originating from an interrupted integrity of the arterial wall which was associated with the vessel wall. Pseudoaneurysm of the radial artery is extremely rare. Pseudoaneurysm may develop as a late complication of hemodialysis through vascular arteriovenous fistula in patients with chronic renal failure. In this article, we report a 52-year-old female case with a giant pseudoaneurysm of the radial artery which developed after an arteriovenous fistula using a polytetrafluoroethylene graft.
