Özet

The chapter explores pedagogical strategies and educational implications of integrating nanotechnology and robotics into science education. As these rapidly evolving fields transform research, industry, and medicine, including them in curricula offers a valuable opportunity to link abstract scientific principles with tangible, real-world applications. Nanotechnology, applied in areas such as targeted drug delivery, renewable energy, water purification, food preservation, and advanced materials, creates interdisciplinary connections across physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering. Similarly, robotics bridges design thinking and computational reasoning with practical problem-solving. To teach these complex subjects effectively, educators need to move beyond traditional, lecture-based methods toward inquiry-based, project-oriented, and model-based learning environments. These approaches encourage students to actively construct knowledge, engage in hands-on experimentation, and develop scientific reasoning and creativity. The chapter highlights the importance of integrating ethical reflection, sustainability, and societal considerations into teaching to foster responsible innovation and scientific citizenship. By embedding nanoscience and robotics in authentic contexts, students gain a clearer understanding of the links between scientific discovery, technological advancement, and societal impact. Ultimately, this chapter argues that incorporating nanotechnology and robotics within rich pedagogical frameworks not only deepens conceptual understanding but also equips learners to thrive in a world increasingly shaped by nanoscale science, automation, and interdisciplinary innovation.
