Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni ve öğretmen adaylarının Artırılmış Gerçeklik (AG) uygulaması geliştirme deneyimlerini ve bu teknolojinin sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde kullanımına yönelik görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Türkiye’nin farklı şehirlerinde görev yapan 30 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni (16 erkek, 14 kadın; 27-42 yaş) ve 10 farklı üniversitenin sosyal bilgiler eğitimi bölümlerinde öğrenim gören 30 öğretmen adayı (9 erkek, 21 kadın; 20-22 yaş) olmak üzere toplam 60 kişi oluşturmuştur. Elde edilen veriler betimsel istatistiki yöntemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda katılımcılar, AG teknolojisinin sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde kullanılmasını yenilikçi, esnek, etkili, eğlenceli ve ilgi çekici olarak değerlendirmişlerdir. Sosyal bilgiler derslerinde AG uygulamalarının kullanılmasının etkili bir öğrenme ortamı ve çoklu ortam öğretimi oluşturacağını belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca AG uygulamalarının sınıfta kullanılmasında internete erişim, bağlantı hızı ve sınıf disiplinini sağlama gibi bazı faktörleri de sınırlılık olarak dile getirmişlerdir. 

The aim of this study is to reveal the experiences of social studies teachers and prospective teachers in developing augmented reality applications and their views on the use of this technology in social studies teaching. The sample of the study constitutes of 30 social studies teachers working in different cities (16 males, 14 females; 27-42 aged) and 30 prospective teachers study social sciences department in 10 different universities (9 males, 21 females; 20-22 aged) 60 people in total. The data obtained by the questionnaire were analyzed by descriptive statistical methods. As a result of the research, participants evaluated the use of augmented reality technology in social studies teaching as innovative, flexible, effective, entertaining and interesting. It was stated that the use of augmented reality applications in social studies courses will create an effective learning environment and multimedia teaching. They also stated that some limitation factors such as accessing to the internet, connection speed and providing class discipline in the use of augmented reality applications in the classroom.
