To reduce human errors in color evaluations that may lead to commercial issues, enterprises use color scales and measurement devices. This study presents a comparative evaluation of color measurements made using the SalmoFanTM color scale and the Konica Minolta CR 10 and CR14 Chroma Meter devices. As a result of the study, strong positive/negative correlations were found between the Ea, Eb, and EC values and the color scale values in all color scales, except for 22 color scales. The study also revealed that the non-homogeneous structure of salmon fillet color is a significant barrier in correlating the obtained data.
