Özet

Intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) therapy is an effective immunotherapy in non-invasive bladder cancer; systemic side effects may rarely occur. A 74-year-old female patient developed dactylitis and arthritis in her left foot after BCG treatment for high-grade pTa urothelial carcinoma. She did not respond to antibiotic treatment. Her erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were elevated, and autoimmune markers were negative; tenosynovitis was detected on ultrasonography. Corticosteroids were initiated, and clinical response was achieved, suggesting BCG-induced reactive arthritis/dactylitis.
