To the Editor,
I read with great interest the article by Guo et al. [1], entitled
“Discovery and analysis of microplastics in human bone marrow” (Journal
of Hazardous Materials, 477, 135266), which represents a pioneering
effort to demonstrate the presence of microplastics (MPs) in human bone
marrow. While this work contributes valuable early insight into human
internal MP exposure, several methodological inconsistencies require
clarification to ensure the scientific robustness and reproducibility of the
findings.
