Özet

ÖZET

Giriş: Günümüz diş hekimliğinde CAD/CAM (bilgisayar destekli tasarım ve üretim)

teknolojisinin yaygınlaşmasıyla birlikte, dijital ölçü kavramı literatürde giderek daha fazla

önem kazanmaya başlamıştır.

Amaç: Bu olgu sunumunun amacı, diş ve diş dokusu kaybıyla Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Protetik Diş Tedavisi Kliniği’ne başvuran hastanın üst

çenesinin dijital iş akışıyla protetik rehabilitasyonunun anlatılması ve kısa süreli klinik takip

sonuçlarının aktarılmasıdır.

Olgu Sunumu: Sistemik açıdan herhangi bir rahatsızlığı bulunmayan 44 yaşındaki kadın hasta,

diş eksikliklerinin implant destekli rehabilitasyonu ve 13 numaralı dişinin protetik restorasyonu

için kliniğe başvurdu. Klinik ve radyografik muayene sonrasında hastaya dijital iş akışıyla

implant ve diş destekli metal altyapılı porselen kron ve köprüler planlandı. Kanin dişin

preparasyonu sonrasında iyileşme başlıkları çıkarılarak intraoral tarayıcıyla her iki çenenin de

dijital ölçüsü alındı. Sonraki aşamada tarama parçaları takılarak tarama parçalarının olduğu

alanların dijital ölçüsü ve kapanış kaydı alındı. Üç boyutlu yazıcı kullanılarak çalışma modelleri

elde edildi.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: With the widespread use of CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and

manufacturing) technology in contemporary dentistry, the concept of digital impression has

gained increasing importance in the literature.

Aim: The aim of this case report was to describe the prosthetic rehabilitation of the maxilla

using a digital workflow in a patient who presented to the Prosthodontics Clinic, Faculty of

Dentistry, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University with tooth and dental tissue loss and to report the

short term clinical follow-up outcomes.

Case Report: A 44-year-old female patient with no systemic disease presented to the clinic for

implant-supported rehabilitation of missing teeth and prosthetic restoration of tooth #13.

Following clinical and radiographic examination, implant and tooth supported porcelain fused

to metal crowns and bridges were planned using a digital workflow. After preparation of the

canine tooth, the healing abutments were removed and digital impressions of both jaws were

obtained using an intraoral scanner. In the subsequent stage, scan bodies were attached and

digital impressions of the relevant areas, together with the interocclusal record, were obtained.

Working models were fabricated using a three-dimensional printer. Cementation was performed

after the metal framework and dentin try-in sessions. At the 3-month follow-up, no

complications were observed in the restorations and patient satisfaction was high.

Conclusion: This case demonstrates that the use of a digital workflow in implant and tooth

supported prosthetic rehabilitation is a reliable and effective method in terms of clinical success

and patient satisfaction. Nevertheless, clinicians should exercise caution and careful judgment

when selecting the most appropriate impression technique by considering the case-specific

conditions.
