Özet
As cyber-physical systems (CPSs) become increasingly prevalent in various sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, industries and manufacturing, transportation, and smart cities, the vulnerabilities inherent in their interconnected nature pose significant risks to individual privacy and overall system integrity. Therefore, this chapter explores the critical security and privacy concerns associated with modern CPS, which integrates computational elements with physical processes. The study examines the diverse threats these systems face, including unauthorized access, data breaches, and operational disruptions, while also considering the implications of these risks on user trust and societal acceptance. The chapter identifies gaps in current practices through a comprehensive analysis of existing security frameworks and privacy regulations. It proposes recommendations to enhance CPS's resilience against emerging threats. Ultimately, this research underscores the necessity for a multidisciplinary approach to security and privacy that incorporates technological, regulatory, and human factors to safeguard the future of cyber-physical systems.
