Solar cell architecture directly affects the performance of perovskite solar cells. In this study, perovskite solar cells were fabricated using CH3NH3PbI3 perovskites in planar and meso-structured architecture and relation between architecture and cell performance was investigated in detail. In experimental section, all production steps and properties of the ideal perovskite structure were given and discussed. Though the formation of perovskite structure was more difficult in mesostructured cells, it has been found that the light absorption and performance values were much better. The mesostructured perovskite solar cell with a short circuit current of 20.08 mA /cm(2), an open circuit voltage of 1.06 V exhibited the highest efficiency around 15.08%.
