Özet
Kidney health is crucial for everyone, especially for those at higher risk of developing chronic kidney disease (CKD). Early detection and management of CKD are vital, as they can prevent serious health issues such as kidney failure and cardiovascular complications. Unfortunately, many at-risk individuals lack the knowledge necessary to make informed health decisions, as traditional diagnostic methods often fail to provide timely insights into kidney function. This gap has led to the development of a unique web-based kidney disease symptoms checker application designed to assist users in monitoring their symptoms and seeking timely medical assistance when needed. The application utilizes Firebase as its backend database, ensuring secure and efficient data storage, while employing React for its user interface, resulting in a responsive and engaging user experience. The combination of these technologies creates a fluid and secure platform for users to navigate. The development process was incremental and iterative, focusing on continuous refinement based on user feedback. By applying user-centred design principles, the team created a clear and user-friendly interface. One of the system's standout features is its ability to provide personalized insights into kidney function by offering tailored recommendations based on reported symptoms, allowing users to take proactive steps toward managing their kidney health. Overall, this innovative web application enhances quality of life and health outcomes by promoting proactive health management among individuals at risk of CKD while also increasing awareness of kidney health.
