Abstract

When breast cancer strikes a woman, it poses the danger of emotional harm as well as opportunities for personal growth to both the woman and her spouse. Husbands of breast cancer survivors, like their wives tend to experince post-traumatic growth positive life changes in the aftermath of the trauma. This study set out to identify the social context factors that are associated with personal growth in husbands of breast cancer survivors.
