Özet

Geçmişte milletlerarası savaşlarda keyfilik hâkimdi. Muzaffer taraf, muharip, sivil, kadın erkek, küçük, büyük demeden düşmanını imha etmeyi meşru görebiliyor, esirler de en ağır muameleye maruz kalıyordu.

Hz.

Peygamber’in esirlere şefkati hadisler ışığında ele alınacak, konu; ‘Tarihte Esirler', ‘Esâretin Kaynaklarının Kurutulması’, ‘Esirlerin durumunun Islahı’, ‘Esir Köle İlişkisi’ başlıkları altında sunulacaktır.

In the past, arbitrariness was already present in international wars. The victorious side could see legitimately the destruction of its enemies whether they were combatants or civilian or male and female or young or old, and so captives were subjected to the worst treatment.

Hz. The Prophet exhibited a moral and humanitarian attitude on his own agenda with his practices towards the captives. He did not allow the prisoners to be subjected to the acts that would damage their honor. Rasûlullâh pioneered the development of an understanding that intimacy shown towards captives is felt intensely with the fathers. A universal culture has formed around this understanding to shed light on our day.

Hz. The Prophet gradually reduced the practice of captivity without causing a sociological and psychological problem. At the same time, he brought provisions to improve the situation of the existing prisoners.

In this paper, Hz. The compassion of the Prophet will be handled in the light of hadiths and the subject will be presented under the titles of ‘Prisoners in History’, 'Drying of Captivity Resources', 'Rehabilitation of the Situation of Captives', 'The Captive-slave Relationship'.
