Biography
Dr. Erkan Caner Ozkat received his M.Sc. degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Bath, UK, and his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Warwick, UK. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (RTEU), Rize, Turkey. Prior to joining RTEU, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Drone Research Laboratory, Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, Denmark. His research interests focus on machine learning and deep learning methodologies, with applications in multidisciplinary optimization, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
