Biyografi
Prof Dr. Yusuf TUTAR yüksek lisans ve doktora derecelerini
sırasıyla Oregon State Üniversitesi Biyokimya ve Biyofizik, Texas Tech
Üniversitesi Biyokimya bölümlerinde tamamlamıştır. Postdoktora çalışmalarının
ilk kısmını Rutgers Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Moleküler Biyoloji, ikinci
kısmını ise National Institutes of Health Genetik Bölümünde (NIDDK)
tamamlamıştır. Yine NIH /NCI - National Institutes of Cancer da araştırmalarını
sürdürmüştür.
Dr. Yusuf TUTAR’ın araştırmaları ilaç dizaynı, protein
yapı-fonksiyonu, protein katlanması, prion, mikrorna, pseudogen, moleküler
kanser, epigenetik, metabolit, proteomik, genomik, spektroskopik ve
kalorimetrik metotlar ile protein ifadesi ve karakterizasyonu üzerinedir. Dünya
ve Türk Bilim Akademisi, FEBS, NIH, Teaching Academy, Scientific Honor Society,
Asian Council of Science Editors, MEB gibi ulusal ve uluslararası kurumlardan 24
ödüle sahip olan Dr. Tutar’ın 120 bilimsel makale ve 52 Kitap-kitap bölümü
bulunmaktadır. Bentham Tıp kitapları Editörlüğü başta olmak üzere birçok
dergide editörlük yapmaktadır.
